Our Mission
The mission of United Christian Academy is to provide a Christ-centered education to students K - 12 from the Northeast Kingdom as well as internationally. We are a unique multi-denominational school with Catholic and Protestant students, faculty, and staff. Our unity lies in requiring all families to be open to the Christian faith and desiring all students to come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. UCA seeks students who want to be challenged by high academic and moral standards, including a commitment to community service. We strive to partner with families and to have them be active participants in all aspects of our school in order to bring about a sense of belonging in the educational process.
Our Beliefs
As our name states, United Christian Academy is truly united in its effort to honor and glorify the Lord together as both Catholic and Protestant believers. Therefore, UCA has adopted the Apostles Creed as its basis of beliefs.
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and buried;
He descended to Hades;
on the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.
