ucA Students Return to a Revamped Playground
ucA students will return this fall to a significantly improved playground, thanks to the generous donations of materials, labor, and resources from friends and community partners. With a completely renewed substrate and improved drainage, the space is ready for another year of play and adventure!

When ucA students return for the 2026–27 school year, they’ll find an improved playground waiting for them.
This summer, the entire playground substrate was removed and replaced, along with significant improvements to drainage in the area. The project represents a substantial improvement to the space where our students play, explore, and enjoy time outdoors.
What makes the project especially meaningful is that all of the funds and labor were generously donated to ucA by friends, families, and community partners.
ucA extends a special thank-you to Rene Ducharm, owner of Plant and Prune Landscaping, for his significant contributions to the project. We are also grateful to ucA board member Larry Fortin, the Marcoux family, Green Mountain Mulch, and Virginia and Dennis Ullery for their generosity and hard work.
We are incredibly thankful for the many people who continue to invest in ucA and our students. Their generosity has helped transform the playground into a better, safer, and more enjoyable space for our kids—and we can't wait to see them put it to good use!
